Mrs. Ibukun Awosika

Mrs. Ibukun Awosika graduated with a BSc. in Chemistry from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife). She is an alumna of the Chief Executive Programme of Lagos Business School and the Global Executive MBA Programme of the prestigious IESE Business School, Barcelona, Spain.

She is the Founder and Chairman of The Chair Centre Ltd, a market leader in the office furniture and banking security systems industries. The latest additions to her entrepreneurial exploits are the opening of branches of The Chair Centre Ltd in Accra (Ghana), Tinapa and Calabar (South-Eastern Nigeria).

Ibukun is the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), an organization committed to elevating the profile of women in management and business. She founded the Afterschool Graduate Development Centre (AGDC), a national career center in Lagos, Nigeria, which was set up in September 2007 to address the high rates of unemployment in the country by making Nigerian graduates employable and good assets to the economy.

Mrs. Osayi Alile

Osayi Alile is the Executive Director of FATE Foundation, a leading private sector-led not-for-profit organization in Nigeria with a mission to foster wealth creation by promoting business and entrepreneurial development among Nigerians. Mrs. Alile holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (Pi Alpha Alpha) from Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA.

In recognition of her outstanding leadership and performance in community, economic and social development, she was selected as YGL by the World Economic Forum in 2007 and NIPRO Global Top 40 Women Under 40 in 2008. Mrs. Alile is a member of several professional organizations including the International Women Society and the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Youth Unemployment 2011 among others.

Her expertise has placed her on the board of several organizations including Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), After School Graduate Development Centre, House of Tara, Zapphire Events and Global Dignity, an affiliation of the World Economic Forum.

Mrs. Nimi Akinkugbe

Mrs. Nimi Akinkugbe is currently the CEO of Bestman Games, founded in 2012, which brought the globally renowned ‘Monopoly’ board game to Nigeria. She served as the the Head of Private and Business Banking at Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc (formerly known as IBTC Chartered Bank plc). Mrs. Akinkugbe also served as Head of Asset Management and Private Banking Department of IBTC Chartered Bank plc. where she was responsible for IBTC Asset Management Limited.

Nimi holds a Bachelor’s Degree from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and an MBA from Lagos Business School. She is a Director at The Play Pen (Child Development Centre), The Daisy Management Centre and Bestman Games Ltd. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ajumogobia Science Foundation, Women in Management & Business (WIMBIZ) and the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Artistes Committee. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, writing, travel, boating and orchid gardening.


Arese is the Head of Wealth Management at Partnership Investment Plc. She is responsible for building the company’s wealth management division, through business development and growing existing client relationships.

She heads Partnership Investment’s internal committee for corporate social responsibility, which has helped raise funds for several education initiatives. She sits on the boards of Partnership Securities Ltd (a subsidiary of the group) and House of Tara International Ltd as a non-executive director and is an associate member of WIMBIZ (Women in Management Business & Public Service).

Arese holds an M.S.C in Economic Development from University College London (UCL) and a B.S.C in Business and Management from Aston Business School, Birmingham. She is also an alumna of the of the Lagos Business School, INSEAD Abu Dhabi and The London School of Business Executive Education programs.


Chukwuka Monye is the founding partner of Ciuci Consulting. He is also a business trainer and often speaks at seminars and conducts business workshops in Nigeria and abroad. Prior to joining the company, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Suburban Telecom. Before Suburban, he served as an independent consultant, providing business development support to a variety of companies including ICT firms such as SocketWorks, one of Nigeria’s leading software companies and other telecommunications firms.

Chukwuka also worked at Citigroup, USA and served as an Associate Branch Manager of a Financial Institution in Florida, USA. He was recently involved in the development of the market entry strategy for Etisalat (Mubadala). He obtained his degree in business management from Warner University, Florida USA (honors) and has also attended renowned universities such as Harvard Business School, USA and INSEAD, France.
